When you stand on canyon’s edge and look out, it feels unreal,

Formed over millennia by the Colorado River, the canyon is

ones, consider completing the Junior Ranger Program.
To become a Junior Ranger, pick up a Junior Ranger Activity Book at the Grand
Canyon Visitor Center. Then, with your child, complete the activities listed in
the book for your child’s age group. Activities include going to ranger talks, hiking
along the rim, and visiting the park visitor’s center. Once your Junior Ranger
has completed his or her booklet, bring it to the Visitor Center to receive an
official Grand Canyon Junior Ranger Badge. While fun for the kiddos to go on an
adventure, adults will enjoy learning about the canyon too while completing the
Junior Ranger Program!
