GRAND CANYON

The city is the southern terminus of the scenic Grand Canyon Railway, which works vintage locomotives and conservative passenger coaches who chug as much as a historic train station in the South Rim.

The Grand Canyon and surrounding communities aren't the sole sexy attractions of Northern Arizona. The town of Page functions as a jumping-off stage to the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and the sky-blue waters of Lake Powell, which straddle the Arizona Utah border.

Once your Junior Ranger has completed his or her booklet, bring it to the Visitor Center to receive an official Grand Canyon Junior Ranger Badge. During the day, you can check out the rotunda museum and look through their specially equipped solar telescope to look directly at the sun without hurting your eyes. We suggest that you visit at night though to really get the full experience, and see the planets like you’ve never seen them before through the high-powered Omniglobe Telescope. 

ADVENTURE COURSE

Channel your inner Tarzan at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course. Suspended above the Coconino National Forest, the adventure course consists of a zigzag of zip lines and rope courses rising higher and higher into the trees.
